Vortex type wet scrubber is commonly used to clean dust laden and absorb gaseous in many industrial applications such as Polishing / Grinding, Leather, Metal, Rubber and Plastics, Foundries, Vortex scrubber Description and Operation. The laden gases enter the scrubber tangentially in a cyclonic mode separating the coarse dust, and move toward the scrubber lower water filter section in a vortex motion, where an intensive water whirl being created for the dirty gas has to pass through it compulsory, thus filtering the fine dust. The top mounted heavy duty type centrifugal fan shall suck the cleaned air through a water separator discharging it into the atmosphere. The dust laden water shall drop down into the sludge container. All HWS unit is equipped with a built in automatic water level regulation Hammam Vortex scrubber is available in several designs, e.g. with removable container or with hopper with supports, as well with exhaust fan mounted on top or separated for floor mounting. Capacity Range:  for the top mounted fans the unit capacity is up to 100,000 m3/hr. higher capacity units are possible but with floor mounted fan.
