Air Curtains-NSF

NSF Standard compliance air curtains for Food and Food Services establishments : HAMMAM, E-Style, extra strength, sanitary air curtains unit (ACU), is designed, selected and installed for meeting the criteria established by The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Standard 37 for each type of opening defined by three categories: Services EntryACU, units shall develop an air stream that is at least 3 inch (75mm) thickness with a minimum air velocity of 1600 ft/min (8 m/sec) , across the entire entryway measured at 3 feet, above the floor. Customer Entry ACU,    units shall develop an air stream that is at least 8 inch (200mm) thickness with a minimum air velocity of 600 ft/min (3 m/sec), across the entire entryway measured at 3 feet, above the floor. Service Window ACU,    units shall develop an air stream that is at least 8 inch (200mm) thickness with a minimum air velocity of 600 ft/min (3 m/sec), across the entire entryway measured at 1/3 the distance of the vertical opening, above window counter top. The NSF/ANSI 37 – 2012 Standard is considered by the food services industry to provide effective flying insect protection to an entryway by deterring flying insects from entering through the opening or nesting in the ACU.
