HAMMAM Horizontal Cross-flow, Cross-current scrubber, Sizes from 100 CFM to 80,000 CFM, The CFS unit is used to ventilate Sulfuric Acid, HCL, and Alkaline fumes, and is available in single or multiple stage design for excellent scrubbing efficiencies up to 99.99%.
How CFS Scrubber works:
The polluted gas stream is chemically absorbed into the liquid scrubbing solution through mass transfer. The clean air stream then passes through a Mist Eliminator, which separates entrained mist droplets from the air stream through inertial impaction and mechanical impingement. The clean airstream is then exhausted to atmosphere.
CFS Scrubber Description:
The Chemical fume scrubber vessel is available in a variety of corrosion resistant materials such as PVC, FRP, Polypropylene, or Stainless Steel. The packing stage(s) consists of non-clogging PVC saddles, the packing depth vary to satisfy conditions and offer design capability to handle any water soluble contaminant at required removal efficiency. The water is discharged inside the scrubber body via PVC spray nozzles. Mist elimination is accomplished by the use of PVC chevron eliminator blades, and /or mesh pads.
The scrubber re-circulation systems are available as part of the scrubber in a self-contained sump, or as a remote tank. The scrubbing liquid recirculation system uses high efficiency chemical duty pump for continuous operation. The sump or remote tank is equipped for make-up water, a high level control, overflows, drain with ball valve and other devices according to the client required facilities. A steel base is standard for all units, epoxy coated to resist the most extreme weather condition.
Optional:
HAMMAM offers a pH control package to maintain the pH of the scrubbing solution, as well as the chemical resistant fume extraction fan/motor unit, complete with all ductwork and fittings, built according to SMACNA standard, all as an integrated part of the skid mounted, entire scrubber system.
